Young Investigator Travel Awards

The local organizing committee is preparing travel awards for young investigators such as graduate students or postdoctoral fellows (100,000JPY each for about 20 people). Awardees will be chosen on the basis of the scientific merit of their abstracts and a letter of recommendation from the nominee's mentor. Applicant must be the first author of an abstract to be presented at the conference.

The application form (download the MS Word file) must contain the following information:

1. Nominee information (name, e-mail, institution, and address)

2. Nominee's mentor information

3. Abstract

4. A one-page Letter of recommendation from nominee's mentor

5. A one-page Curriculum Vitae of the nominee

Please submit the completed application form as an attachment file of your e-mail to "travelawards@kp2012.jp" by Wednesday, Aug 15th 2012.
