A joint research paper with the Kimura Laboratory of Kyoto Sangyo University has been published.

Excited to share that our collaborative work with Kyoto Sangyo University (Kimura Lab) is now out in New Phytologist!
We discovered that the amphibious plant Rorippa aquatica develops epidermal chloroplasts specifically when submerged. Interestingly, this unique mechanism is absent in our model, Callitriche palustris, shedding new light on the incredible diversity of underwater survival strategies.
