Hokuto Nakayama, assistant professor in our lab, has received this year’s BSJ Encouragement Prize from the Botanical Society of Japan. After receiving his Ph.D. in our laboratory, he was a post-doc at Kyoto Sangyo University and UC Davis. Hokuto has published several wonderful papers with unique materials in each laboratory. We look forward to his continued success.
