At the annual meeting of the Botanical Society of Japan held on September 18, Dr. Otsuka’s original paper, Otsuka and Tsukaya (2021), was awarded the JPR Research Paper Award.
This is a paper on the development of a mathematical method to analyze leaf torsional movement in three dimensions, and the spatial character of torsion as revealed by the developed method. Prof. Tsukaya received the award at the venue with Dr. Otsuka, who participated online.
