But their shapes are quite different. To uncover this mystery, we <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/journals.biologists.com\/dev\/article\/149\/23\/dev199773\/285889\/Position-of-meristems-and-the-angles-of-the-cell\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/journals.biologists.com\/dev\/article\/149\/23\/dev199773\/285889\/Position-of-meristems-and-the-angles-of-the-cell\">found<\/a> that the difference of cell division region in primordia was the reason behind this shape difference. We further cooperated with a research group from Kyoto University and validated our discoveries with computational simulations.
