Cell-cell communication involved in the organization of vascular system

Vascular system is composed of various cell types, whose spatial patterns are precisely regulated. In particular, cell-cell communication via ligand and receptor plays crucial roles for the organization of multiple cells in plant tissues. Recently, numerous studies on vascular development have revealed several factors involved in cell-cell communication. So, we focus on ligand and receptor functioning during vascular development to elucidate complicated mechanism controlling vascular development.
