Research Assistants

Scarcity of financial supports for graduate students is a fundamental problem of scientific education in this country. To circumvent this problem, our COE program employs many excellent students as research assistants (RA) that promote the research of the program, and at the same time supports their living to help them fully engage in the research. To maintain professionalism of RA, we will formulate guidelines for evaluation of students' research activities and decide the financial support based on the evaluation. We will call for application for RA through the departments and institutes that the students belong. Students interested in getting employed as RA should pay attention to the announcements and make sure to apply for RA before the deadline.
